Shanghai Sheshan Shimao Intercontinental Hotel is a natural ecological hotel built in a quarry pit, located in the tianmashan deep pit of Shanghai Songjiang Sheshan National Tourism Resort, with an altitude of -88 meters. Following the traditional architectural concept of natural environment and reverse sky development, the hotel extends the architectural space 88 meters below the earth's surface and is built on the cliff wall of the deep pit. It is the first natural ecological hotel built in the waste rock pit in the world. Siyin and Zhishun chose this hotel as a place for people to relax because of its unique and sustainable outlook.
